" I joined the club to accompany my husband. I wasn't sure it was for me as I had been playing football & hockey, but I have now been there just under two years and loving it. Everyone is so friendly and supportive. It is a great sport for any age. "

" Hi Guys, Eddie here. I joined Gedling Indoor Bowls Club to keep active both in body and mind. I took part in a few introductory sessions organised by the club, after that I was hooked! It is a warm and welcoming club with long-standing members who are only too pleased to support you as you develop your game. Tea or Coffee and a natter after the game is par for the course where you can chat and put the world to right, and of course, talk about that bowl that so nearly changed the game… Lol! Come and give it a go, you will be surprised how enjoyable an experience it is for all ages "

" I had a taster session with Pam, who gave me great insight into the sport and the administration of the Club. Pam was most helpful and encouraging. Everyone I have met at the Club has been very friendly. The website is clear and informative. I have made new friends during my Friday evening visits. I will be playing in my first game this week. I am happy to be a new member of the Club. "
