CLUB STATEMENT

All Members have now been informed regards the sad position of the club

 

It is with the utmost regret that we inform you, despite our very best endeavours, we have been unable to secure a longer-term agreement to continue occupying the bowling hall at the Richard Herrod Centre. Our final bowling day will be on the 20th April 2026

​

  • Members may now bowl free of charge until our final day 20th April 20206

  • All finals & rearranged games must be paid for.

  • Our club Presentation Night goes ahead on 26th April at 6.30pm, please come along.

  • Tickets can be purchased at £2.00 per ticket via Sharon or send us and email on gedlingindoorbowlsclub@gmail.com which will be your entry into the raffle and enable us to give the number of attendees to the external caterers who are providing a buffet. All tickets to be purchased by 21 April 2026.

While this chapter is coming to a close, we do not believe the future is bleak.

  • The Club and Company will continue to operate for at least the next 12 months, while options to rebuild the Club are pursued.

  • Work is already underway to secure another alternative venue.

  • Discussions will take place over the next 2-3 weeks, and we will keep members fully updated so you can make informed decisions.

  • Sharon Sharman will continue in her role to support communications and assist with the ongoing running of the Club.

There will be a new phone number for the club in due coure, please keep an eye open for that. Our Email will remain the same and we will be providing a new contact form for enquiries.
